From Group to Duo: The Challenges

Hi! It’s me Anje!

I hope you guys are doing good while reading this! This time, it is my turn to write for our monthly blogs and I want to share with you all that we’ve been through during the first month of the brand new year.

Today, Black History month begins and we definitely intend to show you that “black girl magic.” It’ll be our time to shine even more in this new era we’re going through as a duo.

As Ray (Radium) explained in the previous monthly blog, we used to be more than two members but for some reasons, we eventually had to grow apart from the others.

Little Ranje moment

Ray is the only one who remained with me and I don’t know if I already told her before but I am actually thankful for that and the friendship that we share.

She’s my oldest friend and one of the few people in my life who never complains nor makes me feel guilty about the way I (re)act sometimes (even when she would 100% have the right to do so lol). How can you be so patient?!

Even if she does make me go crazy sometimes, or that we end up having the most exhausting, useless yet funniest debates, I still love her at the end of the day.

From Group to Duo: The Challenges

Throughout the month of January, we’ve been able to face new challenges : we try our best to respect our deadlines and put way more content out there and if everything goes as planned, we’ll have even more to come!

When we were five members, organization and consistency were our biggest issues especially when it came to social media but now after reviewing our methods, we succeed in uploading more and more content on different platforms and we learn how to become better at it as well little by little. Ray even posted her very first cover this month and it has received so much love. (Stream her cover of SZA’s Kill Bill on our YouTube channel) (And stream her cover and French adaptation of New Genesis)

I am so proud of what we are building and I can’t wait to see what we’ll accomplish during this year 2023!

You guys can expect many more surprises: new songs, new types of content, new ways of interacting with you all! Ain’t that exciting?

Conclusion

I truly feel like as a duo we’re being given a real chance to make it into the music industry. Now, there’s no more place for despair as I now see nothing but a “Ray” of hope.

Thank you for your presence in our lives, you who are reading this; we truly hope that we’ll be able to get to know you and talk with you even more in the future because we want you to be there with us the day we succeed to light up the world.
