What's Happening With Flare?

Why hello, bonjour and bonsoir. It’s your favourite chemical Radium with April’s blog post!

“Wait, Radium, didn’t you write last month’s blog post?”

Absolutely! And what about it?

“Then, why are you writing April’s blog post?”

Well simply put, Anje is super busy this week (keep an eye open for a little recap from yours truly soon!) Since she is busy and I have some free time between school and work, I’m writing this month’s blog. But fret not, she will be back next month to share with you all a passionate subject or little updates! We’re a team, and we always have each other’s backs!

Anyway, hi! I am going to make this month’s blog post as short as possible. I know it’s not very common for me to do that, but I don’t have much to say this month. I’d rather take this opportunity to give you Majesties an update on what’s been happening with Flare. Now, now, take a deep deep breath. This is not a goodbye, au revoir et à jamais. I just want to give you all an update so you can know what to expect from us this year and hopefully the next! Don’t worry, we’ll have a larger and longer recap at the end of the year as usual!

As you know, last year was for Anje and I the year of “Let’s see where this goes if we give this a try.” And at the end of it, we saw that it went super well! This year, after we took a much needed break and started working on new songs, we’ve been doing a lot of thinking. A lot of research, Youtube essays that talk about the music industry,give good critiques and stuff, and a lot of reflection on our part. This year, you can expect us to do a lot of experimentation. In terms of sound and music style, in terms of promotion, on social media. We are reaching the point where we want to put ourselves on a path that speaks to us, to our uniqueness, to our dreams.

So expect many surprises, many changes! We found out that we could do this if we put our all into it, and we’re ready to do this. Last year, we were testing the waters. This year, we’re plunging head first.

What’s Flare doing now? Right now we are recording our two new songs, and preparing for the summer. You know, I already told you, music has me excited. And I hope you all share into this excitement.
